1848

1848 The merger of three portions of land, covering a total of 69.98 hectares. A sugar factory was built and equipped with a steam mill, producing 321 tonnes of sugar and 250 barrels of sugarcane syrup.
1913

1913 The Union Sugar Estates Company Limited is officially incorporated.
1945

1945 Union first co-owned a mill with its two close neighbors, Saint Aubin Limitée and Bel Air Sugar Estate Limited. Known as Société Union St Aubin (SUSA), the entity operates on the site of the former Union mill, crushing up to 490,000 tonnes of sugarcane.
2011

2011 Closure of SUSA. Its milling activities are centralized at Omnicane Milling Co Ltd in La Baraque. This marks the end of a period in the industrial history of Union and its partners.

2023 Transfer of Cie de Beau Vallon Ltee’s shareholding to Cécile Holding Ltd.
